Join us for a “fête populaire” in Schenley Plaza and enjoy French wines and a classic French strolling picnic supper with music, a mime, and street performers.  Have your caricature drawn or play a game of pétanque while mingling with fellow French enthusiasts.

 

Place bids in the SILENT AUCTION featuring a number of wonderful items including 2 round trip tickets to Paris Courtesy of Delta Airlines.

 

Bastille Day, a French “Fête Nationale,” commemorates the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille, which occurred on July 14, 1789.  One year later the French held a huge feast, the Fête de la Fédération, to celebrate the uprising of the short-lived constitutional monarchy.

 

Proceeds will benefit the Alliance Française de Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy.
